<p>you seem like an interesting and kind person. this is really the best asset any college applicant can have. sure, there will be kids with better scores than you–but for Stanford, it’s the scores that get you considered, not admitted. Your scores are good enough for you to be considered. If you can write a heartfelt essay–and it sounds like it’s a personal subject, so I’m sure you can–you have a good shot, my friend.</p>
