<p>I'm in CAS and just found out about this Schedulizer website and it's pretty cool. Just wondering what are ya'lls thoughts on my schedule. Btw, what's the freshmen max credit for each semester?</p>

<p>If i'm ** limited to 18 credits ** then I will take out PAM 2100 and also move ** [ASTRO 1101 Discussion 201] ** to ** [Thursday ASTRO 1101 Discussion 212 3:35pm-4:25pm] **</p>

i think you are limited to 18 unless you get special approval or something</p>

<p>if you’re in CAS…are you aware of the 100credit in-residency (CAS) requirement? </p>
<p>unless you plan on transferring to AEM i would drop all those non-CAS classes…</p>
<p>oh i didnt even realize you were in CAS…i assumed you were in aem</p>
<p>yeah, like resurgambell said, you should probably eliminate some of those non-cas classes</p>
<p>Thanks for the comments guy! Sorry but i forgot to mention that i want to transfer to AEM and if i can’t transfer then i’m majoring in ECON. </p>
<p>How about instead of taking out PAM 2100, I take out Math 1120 & AEM 1200. Would that be much better since it leaves me with 13 credits?</p>
<p>I say you should take out 1 class, but realistically you could manage with that schedule bc they don’t involve a lot of reading and time-consuming crap.</p>
<p>I just hope you are reasonably good at quick memorization and math</p>
<p>It doesn’t seem that hard. I would maybe look at the median grades for each class to gauge the difficulty of the course.</p>
<p>No wonder everyone at Cornell complains that it’s so hard…</p>
<p>its totally handleable. my friend took 22 credits first semester of cornell with similar classes, but took econ 313 instead of 1110 and linear algebra as math. ended up with like a 3.95 gpa or something. and no astro 101 either. you’ll do fine with the schedule you have</p>
<p>^And every person I have met like that has no life outside of studying and seems absolutely miserable. If you want to be like that, then more power to you, but I would rather keep my sanity. </p>
<p>I have done quite well with my grades (very similar gpa to your friend) with less credits, while having a lot of fun on the side (even though I was taking a class that assigned ~300pgs/reading per week…didn’t do it, still got A-, and others with lots of reading and writing…wrote a couple dozen papers last semester). I say take a normal course load and enjoy your time here, don’t be one of the ones that people rarely see because you are always in a library or your room studying and being miserable.</p>
<p>I never really understand why people take 19 or more credits. I maxed out at 17 which wasnt terrible, but there is much more to college than just the school aspect. Make sure you take enough credits so that you can learn a lot, take what interests you over a 4 year period (even at 15 credits/semester that is still approx 30-40 classes), and have a life outside of studying. Personally, would rather join a few student organizations than take that extra class or two.</p>

<p>right you want to remember that professors hold office hours during the week…with a normal 15 credit load i already find myself unable to attend office hours b/c of conflicts with other classes…</p>
<p>if you’re booked all week i’d assume office hours will be nearly impossible D:</p>
<p>if you want to transfer into AEM the most important thing will be your semester GPA…i would just take the recommended classes to transfer into AEM and take the minimum course load to insure a solid GPA</p>
