What was the rank of the two students that went to harvard?

1 and 2 haha, but they had 1360 and 1420 old sat respectively

There you go.. Like so many other cases.. depends on the essay. and recs. But in your case, you're gonna have to work on those a bit harder than the average Pton applicants (as if that's possible...) because your stats is a bit on the weak side. Hopefully your SAT retake goes well. Good luck!

any other opinions?

how are his stats weak? he has a 3.9 gpa, good sat II's and a decent sat I which he is retaking. the ecs arent bad and has a nice schedule, why is he below avg princeton applicant?

Go check out some other stats...

im an out of state student who has a 2400 on the sat reasoning test.

my uw gpa is 3.4
my weighted gpa is 4.14
yea i was kind of a slacker until i got serious last year and if you compare my last 3 semesters with those of people at my school its 1

my rank is 38 out of 483
fairly competative school
i just started trying late and our 1 ranked person has like a 1950 on the sat or something

yea so i wanted to know my chances this year im taking all ap classes except one and im probably going to take the sat again to see if i can get 2400 again

yea so please just be honest should i apply to princeton early decision or regular decision or apply at all for that matter any advice is much appreciated.

why would you take the SAT again if you got 2400???

because he is a loser

id have to agree with you on that one

Oh my gosh, that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Especially coming from someone who scored a perfect score on their SATs...

i hope that was a typo, cause that does not make sense.

because im weird like that its a mental thing its just nobody including myself can believe i got it i mean i want to prove it to myself anyway how are my chances thats what i wanna know of getting into princeton

If you will not listen to your peers, perhaps you will listen to someone older. Taking the SAT again after getting a perfect score is not likely to do you good and may do you harm. As for your chances, there is no way to make even the usual less than informed guess given the sparseness of the information you provided.

okay what else do u need

Your EC's, special talents, awards, work experience, community involvement, compelling personal history etc. In short, what makes you different or special from the many other students who have very good SATs and not stellar grades. Obviously, you can't do better than a 2400 SAT, but above a certain point the incremental advantage of having a higher score is not that great. Princeton will likely reject more students with 2400 SATs than it will accept, so why should you be in the latter and not the former category?

ok well i have three ec activities tennis and two clubs.
no special talents no awards
i worked at a doctors office in the summer
i have like 200 hours of community service
and well i have set goals and im hard working and dedicated

With the caveat that I am no more qualified to make an informed judgement then the man in the moon, I would say you should consider Princeton a big reach.

ok i believe i created this thread haha, no more talking about someone who is gonna retake the SATs after a 2400

anyone else have any opinions on my very small chances?
