Do I have any chance at being accepted to Ball State University in Indiana?

Gender: F
High School: Public
Yr. In High School: Senior
High School Type: sends some grads to top schools
Will apply for financial aid: Yes

Academics:

GPA - Unweighted: 2.34
Class Rank: bottom 50%
Class Size: 113

Besides failing a total of four classes throughout highschool (one in my jr. year) I'm an A/B mostly C student.

Scores:

SAT I Math: 470
SAT I Critical Reading: 540
SAT I Writing: 510

Extracurriculars:

Drama club (Vice President), 4 yrs. school musical and play (acting, set construction and design), community playhouse 2 musicals (Again acting, and set construction), 10 art classes throughout highschool, 1 yr as dishwasher at local restauraunt.

In writing I seem dreadfully average but I've been told in person I am quite charming. =] Sadly Ball State does not offer any type of interview for the application process. I am hoping to go into the animation program and am wondering if wanting to major in something to do with art rather than more academically challinging areas if this would affect my acceptance in any way. I would greatly appreciate any type of feedback. Thank you!

Personally, I’d recommend Armstrong Atlantic State University or Mississippi State Univ. to some1 of your caliber.

I’m trying to stay in state. I might have to end up going to the art institute of Indianapolis and then transfering after a while.

I really wanted the whole “college experience” though, y’know?
