Do I have any chance for Georgetown?

Hey guys,I'm applying EA to SFS and just wanted to know if I had any chance of getting in!
I started studying in Georgia starting at the end of 8th grade.
My English is as good as almost that of native people.

Profile:
International - South Korean
I go to a private school (not relatively competitive) in Georgia

GPA : Unweighted 3.9
Class Rank: No class rank for our school

SAT: 2310
; Reading - 710, Writing&Math -800
TOEFL : 114 (out of 120)

Class courses: 10 Honor classes, 5 APs
Freshman - All A's.
I started in a small private school and there were no Honor Classes.
Rigor : 100%

1st semester Sophomore - All Honors - 2 B's and All A's.
I didn't take AP Euro (only AP offered)
I transferred to a very rigorous private school.
Rigor : A little less than 100%

2nd semester Sophomore - All Honors and changed to AP Euro
All A's.
Rigor: 100%
Again transferred to a less rigorous but still a competitive school
(I had to move for my twin sister cuz she had to go to Art institutions there)

Junior - All Honors except for English(regular).
2 AP classes: BIO & US
1 B for US in the first semester and all As for the rest.
Rigor : A little less than 100%

Senior - All Honors
2 AP classes : CALC & Spanish
So far All A's.
Didn't take AP Lit but instead Honors.

My private schools didn't offer many AP's so I took only 5 APs but still a very good rigor.
Also I'm in AP Spanish, my third language.

SAT II: Math II 780
BIO 720
US History 660
Spanish 550 (before taking AP.. and didn't study.... )

I'm taking Korean with Listening this November : Definitely expecting 800.

APs: US History 4, Euro 4, Biology 3

Counselor letter: Very strong
Recommendations: 2 from teachers I know very well; they will be very nice.
Essays: Better than Average, might be fabulous but I'm not done with them.
Interview:
I just finished my interview and the interviewer was pretty young, so it was pretty casual but still I showed strong interview skills ( Eye Contact etc.) and fluently and nicely answered his questions. So a good result is expected.

So far, I guess my Academic is just about average.
My EC is also not very impressive but still not a disadvantage against me.
I'm guessing it really depends on my essays and my sat that will possibly save my butt haha.

Please don't hesitate to say anything to give me exact evaluations!
I hope y'all get accepted this time and Thank you for Reading!

You’re pretty overqualified tbh

For the avg at my school it’s a 4.3 Weighted and ~2190 SAT to get accepted into Georgetown

You can probably get yourself a scholarship of some kind from Georgetown with those stats

ahovahov is wrong. Georgetown won’t give you a scholarship. They are extremely selective and after you are above a certain SAT score, they move onto other things in your application.

You have a chance, but by no means guaranteed admission. I see no passion.

Agreed. ahovahov is incorrect, he/she is probably looking at his/her specific school’s Navience profiles, which doesn’t have any bearing on everyone else. I’d say for you, Georgetown - Statistical Match. You TECHNICALLY “fit” but due to just luck, essays, and like wallrus75 said a potential lack of focus/passion, you cannot be sure.

The average acceptance for a higher tier school may be a certain SAT and GPA, but I garuntee you that they deny the majority of people over that point. This isn’t the case for lower tier schools, but it definitely is for these higher ones.

I see… I have another question.
Which part of me do you think shows lack of passion?
I’m so desperate to fix that cuz that’s obviously what will drop me out of the acceptance pool…

Also… should I then show my passion for international relations in my essay?
I didn’t mention it above but I have set GU as my first choice ever since I came here and considering my background, I truly know the importance of diplomacy and global affairs to me.

Here is advise I give everyone who seems to lack passion:

"You need focus. What do I mean by focus? Focus is something that much of your ECs revolved around, and something that you were successful at. Most importantly however, focus is what college admissions think you will bring to the college. Now your focus doesn’t have to be unique; mine is mathematics research and engineering. Of course I backed this up (Siemens comp participant, submitted paper to journal, presentation at a conference at a college, tutor in engineering teams at elementary schools (engineering tutor of the state 2x), and competing at an international college engineering competition.

Of course yours doesn’t need to be this extensive, but you need to tell colleges why they want you to come to the school. Once you find your focus, write your R

Thank you so much! It really helped!
