<p>Your best bet is excellent essays. And not just “wow, that was interesting” material, but rather “the adcom read it and cried for 15 minutes” quality - which is extremely difficult to do without some insane experience.</p>
<p>Oh, and while your test scores do pose an issue, your ECs are just as much a problem, if not moreso.</p>
