Do I have any chance getting into RISD ?

<p>I've been going to a community college in Florida for architecture for the past 3 years and my GPA is a 3.2, i have a decent portfolio and I really want to go to RISD i love the campus Im just worried that they may be looking for something more. Any ideas or thoughts that might better my chances of getting in please let me know.</p>

<p>Your chances are going to depend above all on your portfolio. If you have decent grades, decent test scores, and an outstanding portfolio then you might have a chance at general admission at RISD. But if you're interested in architecture, that's one of the most demanding majors at RISD and my guess is that as a transfer you might have a tougher time.</p>

<p>Of course I don't know you, and you haven't said much about your background in art. I think you might take your portfolio to one of the National Portfolio Days and see what people say. (See <a href="http://www.npda.org%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.npda.org&lt;/a&gt;)&lt;/p>
