So I'm a Junior at a really competitive high school (plano west, ranked #63 in the united states.) I really want to go to Mcgill as I feel that the campus life really fits what I'm looking for, and the academics are very strong.

However, I am concerned about getting in. I took one SAT in April, and another one just this June (although scores aren't back yet), and plan to take it one more time this october.

I have been enrolled in numerous AP classes: one my freshman year, two in my sophomore, four in my junior, and next year will be enrolled in six. My SAT score as of right now is at a 1980 (590:reading, 690 math, 700 writing) and my SAT US History is at a 660. I will be taking the Biology and Math 2 subject tests coming up in the beginning of my senior year.

I am ranked top 11% of my class, with a 4.1 GPA. I also have strong areas of extracurriculars on my resume (not sure they look at that though). I have been orchestra officer, part of a plano youth leadership program, and have started my own Acappella club that sings to hospitals and elderly homes. I also have over 100 volunteer hours, and have strong backgrounds in music: I was ranked top ten finalists in a texas state piano competition and have been awarded numerous awards for the violin.
I plan to major in biology.

What do you all think? Thank you so much.
