GPA4.4
(these are my goals)
SAT I 2330
SAT II math C,physics and chemistry,2400
AP statistics,calculus ab/b c, physics B/C,and chemistry all 5
and now it's my junior year,I hardly have any extra curriculums.as a matter of fact,I am very academic.and my high school forced my to be academic.what we study now is harder than AP,(if the difficulty of AP I deduced right from a perusal of barrons)so I get nearly no social life.I am in the top 3 percent of the Grade ,and I am skilled at science and maths.so with these,at the beginning of the year 2007,I got the idea of studying at Caltech.
I do not intend to apply for scholarships,(i know as an international student it can be rarely possible to get a scholarship)so the chance must be greater since Caltech is not need-blind.
I have been crazy about Caltech for nearly two years, and I even dreamt of being admitted. I know with only good scores I could not be competitive, but there's still a whole year left for me to do something.what big stuffs about ec should I do?How can I get into an international M UN?or how can I get into ISEF as a Chinese student? if I come to Harvard summer school to study some really challenging courses, should that be enough?

You definitely show potential in becoming accepted into Caltech. However, are you sure you have no ECs? Include awards from math contests or science fairs that I'm sure that you've won, considering your amazing scores. As for attending Harvard during the summer, I would say that shows a lot of dedication to whatever your major. As long as you write a good essay, I'm confident that you'll get in. Good luck!

haha it feels so weird to look back. I didn’t understand the American curriculum at all at that time. And even the GPA calculation was absolutely wrong. I used “scholarship” when what I really meant was “financial aid”. and I could not distinguish “junior” from “sophomore”…
Now it’s two years later and I really got into Caltech. hoho haha wow wow wheeee…
To anyone by chance reading my post: 1) chancing doesn’t help at all.
2) don’t worry if you are too nerdy and have no stellar ECs. :D
