<p>The link below contains the most comprehensive information I have seen on the entrance stats of the class of 2014, broken down by major. It uses SAT scores, but conversion concordances are available online to help you put this in perspective. Keep in mind that OOS admissions are more difficult. You can google the common data set to see what aspects of the application get the most weight as reported by VT. Make sure you are looking at the latest available report (ie 2009-2010 vs 2002-2003).</p>

<p>But I guess I’m just going to have to wait and see when the letter comes. Any idea when general admissions get their notifications?</p>

<p>It really depends on when you get notified. I can’t exact remember when the actual notification date is. I think it is like April 1 or something. I got my notification on the 24th of February. You might get yours around that time or you might get yours from that time up until April 1. You will get an e-mail when they make a decision. Hope this helps.</p>
