<p>Im waiting for USF and UCF. It's my last chance. Ive gotten good grades all my life, but totally bombed the SAT. My top choice would be USF. I dont want to go to FAU. If USF or UCF dont take me, im going to community college. </p>

<p>also, does usf consider me for summer admission if i dont get fall? or do i have to fill out another application?</p>

<p>You’ve got a chance, but it’s not the strongest chance. According to the guidelines in the attached 2011-2012 admission matrix, with your stats you’ll probably be deferred, reviewed for any summer programs at USF-Tampa, or referred to USF-St. Petersburg which is a separate independent college but part of the USF system. You shouldn’t need to send another application. Good luck!</p>

<p>and ps- i applied late september. still havent heard back. does that mean they are still thinking? i called and they did say that i had everything turned in.</p>

<p>Make sure to have your high school send USF your high school transcript updated with your fall semester grades. Too, make sure scores from all SAT and ACT exams are forwarded to USF. If you don’t have minimum required sub-scores described below for SAT or ACT, schedule taking test again and advise USF you are taking test again shortly.</p>

SAT - Critical Reading >= 460 or ACT - Reading >=19
SAT - Math >= 460 or ACT - Math >= 19
SAT - Writing >= 440 or ACT - English/Writing >= 18</p>

<p>The SAT score might be the only bad factor I see here, but considering USF’s minimum requirements are so damn low, you should be fine. Worst case scenario, you get referred to USF St Pete.</p>

<p>mchief, you have good chance of getting in. 11 is good essay score. USF seeks international students also to compliment its diverse student body. USF has big plans for the future; USF thinks globally today and for the future!</p>

<p>thx lizard! yes i mailed usf , FSU and FAU all my well SIMILIAR to AP classes but its not international scores… i need to call them monday to find out if they recieved it and is gonna take it into consideration, which they should. i am already accepted into FAU…but thats my back up school although i heard its an alright school</p>

<p>I was deferred w/ 21 ACT 930/1600 1540/2400 . They said I didn’t meet the minimums that lizard posted.</p>

<p>They are lol, well only my math is which is making me seem like a complete idiot. I just didn’t get the 19 or the 460 in math :confused: But I was just saying what they said and giving him perspective since we have similar scores.</p>
