UC GPA:3.55
SAT:2080
SAT2: Going to take in november, planning on math 2 and chem, expecting above 600 each
Got a 5 on calc ab, taking ap chem and ap gov right now
Over 100 hours volunteering at a community center tutoring kids
4 years interact</p>

<p>Planned major is CS:Game Design at ucsc, and computer science at the other schools</p>

<p>Also planning on retaking sat on december, hopefully I’ll get at least 2100…</p>

<p>Applying to UCSC, UCSB, UCI, CPP,CPSLO, and SCU</p>

<p>My top choices are UCSC and CPSLO :/</p>

<p>You’ll definitely get into UCSC.</p>

<p>You have a pretty good shot at UCSB, UCI, and CPSLO.</p>

<p>Your low gpa hurts, but your SAT is elite. Write a good essay and you should get in.</p>

<p>I think you are a match for UCSC and CPP is a safety. I wouldn’t be shocked if you didn’t get into SB, I, CalPoly SLO, or SCU, but I think you have a good shot.</p>

<p>Is it easier to get into SCU than to UCSB or UCI?</p>

<p>Im asking because the tuition isn’t that much more expensive because I won’t have to pay for room and board if I choose to attend there</p>

<p>Yes SCU has a higher acceptance rate, but also a higher average SAT/ACT score than those 2 UC’s.
