do i have any chance?

as of now, i am an incoming junior, and in my freshmen year and first half of sophmore year, i really screwed up and ended up with an 83.97 avg. however, at the end of my sophmore year i picked up my grades a bit, which resulted with a 90.03 average.

i'd like to know if colleges look at the fact that i improved, and hopefully will be improving my following junior year. i expect to be getting at least a 90+ average. if i do pick up my gpa to say, an 85 or an 88, would i stand a chance in getting in to colleges like nyu, bu, or northeastern? i expect my SATS to be at least 2000+. by the end of junior year i would have taken AP World History ( in which i got a 5 on the AP test) AP US History, and AP Psychology. i will also have taken the SAT World History Subject test, as well as SAT US, SAT Physics, and possibly SAT Chem.

i know by gpa is terrible ):

oh, and i forget to mention that i go to the bronx high school of science, and i'm wondering whether or not that would change anything.

anyone? ):

Pretty good chances at BU and Northeastern, but NYU’s looking really unlikely for you. If you can get your SAT to 2100 and keep your GPA decent (3.5 ish) then you’re definitely in at BU and Northeastern. Emphasis on the 2100 part. Either way though, NYU’s looking like a lonshot… By the way, can you give me some details about your ECs? And your race? If you’re a URM (African American, Hispanic, Native American), then you’re in at each school, no question there.

sadly i’m an Asian male. i’m the treasurer for a club in my school called Random Acts of Kindness that does things similar to key club in which we do volunteer events.

out of curiosity, how are you determining my chances for the colleges?

also, just to be pessimistic, if my average could only be an 85, but i have a 2100 SAT, then what would i still stand any chance?
