ECS: Working on a project that deals with microfluidics and nanotechnology
Developing a enzymatic biofuel cell for the purpose of being a prosthetic, Conducting research in the area of parkinsons in studying the interactions between a newly discovered gene and the proteins.
Highly active with the medical organization with projects such as public health education sessions for low income neighborhoods, Take heart america initiative, and working on a non-profit organization currently.

Recs: Possibly two from a biophysics professor and a chemistry professor from the local universities.

colleges: Emory (Oxford College), Vanderbilt, GA Tech, Carnegie Mellon, Wake Forest, Johns Hopkins, UChicago (I have put alot of energy on the essays), UF, UMichigan, and Rice.

Please be honest I doubt I have chance for these universities.

You have a pretty good chance, especially since you are a URM and first generation. Plus your ECs and test scores are excellent. The only downfall is your GPA but I honestly don’t think it will be too much of a hindrance.

You definitely have a shot at all of them. With a 35 ACT you fall within the norm pretty much at all your schools. Johns Hopkins seems like maybe a bit of a Reach, as well as UChicago, simply because of your GPA, but as long as the essay is good you’ll be fine.
