Do I have any chances?

I am an international(armenian). I am going to apply for financial aid. My intended area of study is Computer Science.

SAT I: will take in December, hope to get >=2000(800 for math section)
SAT II Subjects: have taken math IIC and physics in November, will most likely get 780-800 for both.

GPA: 9.9/10.0
School/class Rank: 1
Recs: excellent
Essays: pretty good IMO(demonstrating interest in math/science)

I have a Bronze medal from International Olympiad in Informatics(IOI) 2009, placed 2nd at national olympiad, also participated in national olympiads in various subjects, especially in math/science. Have a programming experience of ~5 years. Have led my school's intellectuals team to 2nd place in our city. Have graduated from high school with a Gold Medal(there were 31 students who graduated with Gold Medal overall in the country).

Thanks in advance.

you’ll be competitive. i’m not sure if they give fin aid for internationals.

itsme, please don’t start making statements about something you’re unfamiliar with.

[Caltech: Welcome to Financial Aid](http://www.finaid.caltech.edu/)

Financial aid is available to all accepted international students. However, you must receive it your first year in order to be eligible subsequent years. Since you’re an international applicant, your applications is not need-blind however, unlike domestic applicants.

Thanks, but if I don’t apply for finaid will that significantly increase my chances?

For that, you’re going to have to call the admissions office. I’m not exactly sure how much of an effect it will have, but it would probably be statistically significant.

Math IIC - 800
Physics - 780
