TOEFL: Took it last week, but on my test simulation I had 100 pts
GPA:4.00
ECs:
-Have been working at my mothers store for 10 years now, 12-14 hrs a week, 48 weeks per year
-Phylately (stamp collecting) 4 yrs
-Intramural Tennis 4 yrs
-Intramural Table tennis 4 yrs
-Junior Red Cross 2 yrs
-Private english school 10 yrs
-School yearbook 3 yrs
-Drama club 3 yrs
-School choir 2 yrs
-Class treasurer (senior year)
-CIS Eastern Europe College tour (volunteer at international academic center EducationUSA)-Belgrade event </p>
<p>honestly your scores are the biggest problem. if you have awesome essays and some really cool things you have done, you may have a chance, but i would look for some schools that may be a bit less selective where you have a good chance of getting in</p>
<p>You will not get in with those scores. The next SAT date is in January, so you can still improve your score on the main test. Buy the Princeton Review study guide for the SAT; that gives the best testing methods, and even if it doesn’t get you into Cornell, it will improve your chances for other schools. Study your ass off. Throw some twist of leadership into your EC’s. What’s your weighted GPA? Have you taken any AP courses? List em’!</p>
<p>Oh, I know, all the colleges I found match me completely. I just like Cornell but I knew that it’s highly unlikely for me to get in. I’m an international student, we don’t have APs :D</p>
