Idk what my uc gpa is. that's just my regular. </p>

<p>29 ACT.

4 ap euro</p>

<p>I've taken 8 APs (counting this year, senior year)</p>

<p>ECs:
pres of environmental club
founded harry potter club
secretary/member of special biotech program at my school
journalism
tutor
international club
internship at local winery
job for 4 years at local horse riding barn
all I can think of at the moment...</p>

<p>I did my essays on horse riding and knitting. haha. </p>

<p>I applied as a womens studies major. I looked it up on statfinder (new fave website, btw) and my ACT is wayyy above the average for gender studies so I hope this balances out my bad GPA. </p>

<p>I think you’re pretty decent. Not guaranteed but you’re not being unrealistic. I give it a slight reach just because of the GPA. And the Harry Potter club is really not worth mentioning on your app. Jussayin’.</p>

<p>according to the uc statfinder, the 2009 unweighted gpa average for gender studies admits is 3.82 and enrollees is 3.75.
HOWEVER…the average gender studies ACT score for admits is 24.9 and 22.5 for enrollees. </p>

<p>So this is why I have a little hope haha. I’m not expecting to get in (uc davis is my top choice) but I guess I’ll see in march…</p>
