Do I have enough science classes?

Hi everyone,
I’ve heard that a lot of “good” colleges prefer that students take four years of science classes in high school rather than the standard three.

By the time I graduate high school this year, i will have taken the following:

  • Biology - Honors (9th grade)
  • Chemistry - Honors (10th grade)
  • Physics - Dual Enrollment / Honors (11th grade)
  • Psychology - Dual Enrollment (12th grade)
  • Sociology - Community college class taken on my own time after school (12th grade)

My question is this: do I have enough science classes, or would colleges prefer I take an additional “empirical science” like Anatomy or Earth Science? I’m worried college admissions counselors won’t view my Sociology or Psychology classes as real “sciences.” Any advice would help!

(For what it’s worth, I am applying to colleges as a marketing major)

Sociology and psychology are usually seen as social sciences (like economics, political science / government, and history).

But having biology, chemistry, and physics is good enough for many colleges, though some of the most selective colleges may prefer an additional advanced level science course (check their admission web pages).
