Hello, everyone on CC.
I'm a junior and I just realized that there are only two months that the World History test is offered. So I was thinking of writing it in June, but would I have enough time to study?
I will be studying on my own with Barron's prep book. Since I absolutely LOVE history, especially world history, I'm confidant that I'll enjoy studying it, but I'm just not sure if I'll have enough time to cover everything. Please advice me!
Thanks.

Have you recently taken a World History course? If so, then you will be fine. Go for it!

If not, then maybe you should allow yourself more time and take the test next time it’s offered.

Whatever you choose, good luck!

By the way, the regular registration deadline has already passed, but you can still register for an extra fee until something like three days before the exam is given.

i’m a little lost…i just took the world history ap test. is there another world history test offered?

Yes, there is an SAT Subject Test in World History as well. I believe it is at a somewhat lower level than the AP test.

Thanks for your adivce! But I haven’t taken any history course, because Canadian schools don’t offer any. I’ve only studied World Wars in social studies class.

You can still do well on the SAT World History test if you love the subject and study it on your own, but you should give yourself more time to study. Unless you are a super-brain (which maybe you are), one month is not enough time. But when you do take it and submit your scores to colleges, you should try to make sure they know that you studied on your own. That should be impressive if you do well on the test! Good luck.
