I'm taking AP Chem in the morning at 8am and then I have to rush over to another school to take Psych at 12pm.

Each exam is around 3 hours so if Chem starts promptly at 8am, I should be able to get there in time.

In your experience, do exams start when they say they will? Or is there a 30 minute delay due to students arriving late and the teacher reading instructions?

The other school is 15-20 minutes away and I probably should get there early. I haven't signed up for Psych yet because I don't know if I will get there in time. :(

Any advice?

same with me im doing ap env in the morning and psych later. and mine is hella far apart with traffic. but i asked my ap coordinator bout it and she said id be fine

Thanks dayadam Have you started studying yet? I haven’t even opened Barrons Psych book haha

I’ve never taken an AP exam before so I didn’t know the actual start/end times. My AP coordinator said I should probably arrive 15-20 minutes early at the other school so I was concerned I wouldn’t make it on time :P

no i havent. i dont think im gonna get a study book since all im going for is a three. i got a three on the wh exam with a bad teacher and i barely took notes or read, so i figured i can get a 3 on psych without too much of a problem.

usually our county does ap exams at this arena deal, but for some reason this year we are doing it at the school. which sucks because it will be loud and bad proctors and we have to stay for the whole day. its so dumb. but our school doesnt offer apes so i have to go to the arena thing for that exam and then drive back for psych

Hmm…I’m also wondering the same thing.

Do AP tests start promptly or is there a 30 minute lag?

i believe the first 30 min would just be filling out information and going through the instruction. last year, didn’t start on the exam until like 30 or 45 min after the specified time.

Thanks for the insight jerry.

Ugh. That’s bad news for me :/
