Stats:
junior, white female enrolled in a VERY competitive public school in buffalo, ny. (number one ranked public highschool in western new york)
My GC won't give us our GPAs until senior year, but it should be way up there, I've only gotten 1 B+ so far, and my lowest grade last year was an A.
taking the hardest curriculum possible:
sophomore year: regents courses and AP european history (4) and AP English Lit (3)
junior year: AP Statistics, AP US History, challenging AP Spanish exam, IB Biology, IB Math Methods, IB World Lit.
projected senior year: AP Calculus, IB Economics, IB Spanish, IB Bio, IB World Lit, IB History of the Americas, etc, I'm not exactly sure what's going to be offered.
SATs: 2100 (730 math, 710 critical reading, 660 writing), 1440 not including writing.
Haven't taken SAT II's yet, will most likely get 700+s.
projected EC's:
varsity tennis (9-12), captain junior and senior year
ski club (9-12)
DECA (9th, advanced to states and won top 10 overall medal...then it got cancelled :-( )
Helicon (literary magazine), (10-12), might be editor in chief next year
city softball league (7-12)
Prom Committee (11-12, they only let juniors and seniors join it)
Volunteer stuff: Big Brother Big Sister in school and out of school, Blood Drive committee thing, park clean-ups every year.
Work experience: I'm going to start working at a co-op very soon, and you get paid in discounts for food, so I'm not sure if this would go under volunteer or work stuff, but I'm just putting it here.
tennis instructor at local park the summer before freshman year, but that program got cancelled.
Will most likely have excellent recs and good/great essays.
