Do I have potential for UC Berkeley?

Hi!
I'm pretty nervous about the Berkeley results and was wondering if someone would be willing to chance me :)
I am an Asian female and am going for Electrical Engineering. I'm also out-of-state (Texas).

ACT: 34 (36 math, 34 english, 33 science, 33 reading, 10 writing)
SAT: 2220 (740 math, 740 reading, 740 writing)
SAT II: 800 Math Lvl 2, 710 Physics

Top 9% in a highly competitive Texas school, class size over 1500. My high school is ranked within the top 70 in the nation.
GPA W: 4.236/4.0 (weird scaling system...I generally get around A's and B's in the most challenging-offered classes)

AP: Human geography 4
European history 4
World history 4
Calculus BC 5
Music theory 5
English Lang 5
Statistics 5
US History 3

Currently taking: AP Physics C, AP English Lit, AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, AP Chemistry, AP Computer Science

EC: Orchestra for 6 years (officer of 3 years, 1st chair), regional Youth Honor Society (4 years member, 1 year secretary), Habitat for Humanity (4 years), Key Club (2 years), Learning About Science and Engineering Research Club (2 years),
French Honor Society (1 year), National Honor Society (2 years), Junior States of America (1 year), Hip hop dance (3 years).

Awards/Honors: Science fair 1st place school level, honorable mention regionals, 1st place engineering at a regional tournament, 1st place science local team competition, AP Scholar with Distinction, French folk dance competition 2nd place, Several minor awards in orchestra (superior ratings on performances and such), etc. There's more, but I think these are the more important ones.

One of my essays was about dance and how it built up my character, confidence, and values.
The other one was about my passions for EE.

Also, I heard that sending in the app earlier boosted chances of getting in? I'm not sure. I sent it in on Nov 1st, but it processed on Nov. 4.

Thanks so much!

You should have a really good chance in my opinion, especially since you are female and going for engineering. And I heard the same thing about sending in the application earlier, but the UC’s themselves deny that fact so I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Good luck!

@alicksmeow Yay thanks so much!
