I am applying for 9th grade think I have a good shot at the Hill School

It certainly sounds like you have a good shot, especially because of your strong ec's. Sometimes admissions at any school can be unpredictable, so be sure to include a few other boarding schools that appeal to you if you have your heart set on boarding school next year. Good luck!

According to www.boardingschoolreview.com, the average SSAT at The Hill is 70%. This is the SSAT score that shows where you stand among other SSAT takers of your sex over the last 3 years. If you got a 90%, then you are in very good standing for The Hill. But, when did you take the test? The first test is mid-October for this year. If you took the test last year, you will probably have to do it again this year. Talk to Admissions.

True it may not be as competitive as some of the schools often mentioned on this thread, but it still is a very good school. Even in you score 99 on your SSAT if the hill school moves you then apply and attend. Don't worry about what the many contributors on this thread think. Andover, exeter and SPS are not for eveyone, even many of the very top students go elsewhere. Sauske40, if you stay too long on these threads, many will have you think The hill isn't good enough. Do your thing!
