I am fairly sure I'm attending- the only thing that may prevent me is if I'm accepted with very good financial aid to any of the other 3 universities I've applied too. They're all reach-y colleges though, and there's a 70-80% I'll be attending UT. Should I accept my offer at UT so I can get my housing and stuff reserved (and if I get in to another college, I'll let my deposit go)? Or do I accept my admissions offer only after I've waited for my other decisions to come in sometime in March?

bumppppppp

On the side of ethics, you wait until you know for sure.

^ In addition to the ethics issue, did you already pay the $50 non-refundable housing deposit? If “yes,” that is what holds your place in line for housing. If “no,” do it today! That queue started back in August as soon as they starting accepting apps! I don’t think enrolling improves your housing situation one bit, but why don’t you call Housing to confirm. I sure wouldn’t want to give UT $500 for the enrollment deposit + housing contract and then have to wait on them to refund it if I decided to enroll elsewhere.

No. That’s a spot you take away from someone else should you decide not to attend. Just hold your horses. You’re already in.
