Well, I have completed more than 30 semester units at CCC. I already completed a Math class but there are two English composition courses pending. I am going to take ENGL1A in Fall and 1C in Spring. Is it gonna be a problem if I'd like to sign TAG for Fall2010?

Yeppppppppppppppp

I think you have to have one English comp course completed before you sign.

I’m in almost the same boat.
I’m taking a math class right now in the summer, ENG1A in the Fall, and ENG7 in the Spring.

On the UC websites they say it’s required to have them done the Fall before your transfer (so Fall of 09) but I’ve asked around and people said it doesn’t matter as long as you get them done before transferring but then again, I don’t know how reputable they are with their info. Hopefully, that’s the case because it would be such a hassle if we couldn’t get the TAG.

Where does it say that? On the application, it says something like “As a transfer student, you must complete ______ by the end of the Spring semester before you transfer.”

“For fall 2010 admission, you must complete the UC level English and math requirements (IGETC Sections 1A, 1B, and 2) by the end of fall 2009;”

Ref: [UCSD TAG](Page Not Found)

So does that mean we would have to apply for the Winter 2010 TAG?

You can still apply without TAG and have a good chance.

i think you need to do it for tag
