<p>Yes, URSA won’t let you enroll in another course even if you’re 1 unit over.</p>
<p>If you don’t want to go through the trouble and have legitimate interest in the subject, maybe you could sit in the lecture without enrolling in the class?</p>
<p>Just go to the undergrad advising office a the bottom of murphy hall. If there isn’t a huge line at the window then the processes of petitioning is very quick. Go in the morning and you should be in and out in under 5-10 minutes.</p>
<p>You need to do it the first day of Spring quarter. Go to either window, and the process is automatic - no forms required for up to 22 units. </p>
<p>Eligibility: To be eligible for excess units, you must meet ALL of the following conditions:

<p>If you’re in the College of Letters and Science’s Honors Program, you can just drop in and ask the people at the front desk to increase your unit max to 23 units, no forms necessary. You do have to be in good standing though.</p>
