In my Sophomore year, I took the SAT and ACT within the same month. I got a subpar score on the SAT (1890) but a greater score on the ACT (31). I’ve never taken the SAT since, but I have the ACT, to which I have a 32.
So my question is, do I have to report that SAT score? It is obviously less than my ACT score, and so I would like to avoid sending it if possible, but I’m not sure if sending it is required.
You only have to report your ACT scores if you prefer. The UC’s want all scores either ACT or SAT, but does not make a difference which scores you report.
That is very early to take the tests (sophomore year). Bet you’d do much better at the end of junior year.
@lostaccount I’m actually a Senior right now, hah. I never retook the SAT, and that 32 ACT score was my highest, and I took that just a couple months ago in the summer…
