Terribly confused international student here.

Do I have to self-report my SATS and SAT IIs and everything.
Just because I've used score choice for my schools (all my schools, incidentally, allow it). Although, I'm reluctant to let them know I've taken it more than once. I'm only officially declaring one score.

ALSO, some of my schools don't require SAT IIs and I'm not sending them my SAT2s (unless my Jan ones turn out to be amazing or something). Again, I want it to seem like I never took 'em in the first place.

I am down to retake my SATIIs in Jan since I screwed up my December ones a bit (I mean they're not tragic, but far from my best).

As an international student, my school stats and predicted leaving exam grades are quite a bit better than my standardised testing.

Is it okay to just send stuff from college board and leave it all off the common app?

Also, can I alter this information on a school by school basis? (I’m applying to about 5 schools via the common app). Somebody told me that you can’t.

Yes, it’s fine to not self report your scores. That will have no impact on your application chances. You can definitely make changes in the self reporting section and self-report for some schools and not others. Your scores will be stored in your common app account, but will not be sent to schools where you do not self report. You will be able to see this in the preview before submitting to each school.

Thanks so much niceday! I feel a lot better now. Just to hear it stated: ‘no impact on your application chances’. I thought it would be ridiculous if it would.

The self reported scores section is only there for the convenience of colleges who use the self-reported scores to pre-sort apps and speed the review process.
