Do I have to send a secondary school report from EVERY school?

I've attended a lot of high schools, and they have my grades all messed up. However, my current school has them correct and has my grades from all of the schools I've attended. Will colleges want me to send transcripts and a report from ALL of the high schools I've been to or just the most current one?

Yes, you will need to have official transcripts sent by each and every one of the high schools that you have attended. The schools will send the secondary school reports with those transcripts.

If your question really is “Will the college/university I want to attend reject my application because of the messy way that HS2 recorded my coursework at HS1, and the even uglier ways that HS3 and HS4 recorded the coursework from HS1 and HS2?” well the answer is that none of us here at CC can tell you Yes or No. However it does stand to reason that a smart admissions officer would be able to look at the courses taken at HS1, and separate them from the recorded versions of that coursework on the transcripts of HS2, HS3, HS4, etc. And quite frankly, if a college/university doesn’t hire staff smart enough to figure that kind of stuff out, and you aren’t accepted, count your blessings. You don’t want to attend that place anyway.

^You are so right, I can’t help but worry though. However, I went through some university websites and a lot say to send transcripts from all previous schools attended IF your grades from those schools are not included in current transcript. Thanks anyway, I should’ve taken the time to check each website more thoroughly beforehand.
