Do I have to send all SAT scores?

I took the SAT three times. My first score wasn’t so great. The second time I took the test, every section- math, CR, and writing- all went up. I took it a third time this October and I’m pretty confident my scores improved even more.
Do I have to send every SAT score to Tufts? Can I just use score choice and pick the score that I know is best? What’s the point in sending in a score that can’t even be used in superscoring?
If I end up using Score Choice and only send in one SAT, could it affect my chances of admission or adversely affect my application? Will the admissions officers be able to see that I didn’t send in all my scores?

Tufts is a competitive school and if they require you to send all scores I would do so. If you choose to use score choice they will not know - it’s the honor system. However, if you opted into the student search services there is a chance they can at least know you sat for the exam. But they will not know your scores.

But with competitive colleges I do not see how sitting for multiple tests many times will hurt you. I would think that they’d want someone who is constantly willing to push themselves to do better and are willing to give up a half day to sit for multiple exams.

Some people hire expensive tutors or enroll in expensive programs to study for these exams. Some take the exam multiple times to do better. Whatever you do I’m sure colleges will realize almost every application consists of an applicant who has in some fashion studied for either the SAT or the ACT or both. Colleges want to see your history but they will looks at your top scores.
