So I am working on my college apps (for early action) and am reporting both my SAT and ACT scores. I sent my SAT scores to both the schools I am applying to (2270: 800 M, 710 CR, 760 W) but don't know if I should/have to send my ACT official score reports (34 Comp: 36 M, 34 E, 34 R, 33 S, 9 W). Its an extra chunk of money that I would like to not "waste" if I can help it. If I self report these scores and they are visible on my transcript from my school, can they just be "supplemental" materials in a way? Like my SAT is my primary standardized test, but the ACT is just supporting the results. Thanks for the help!

Check with your school. Some schools may insist you send in the official score.

I would start with just the SAT score. If they want/need the ACT score they will let you know. but the only way to know for certain is to call the admissions office.

Also, I looked at the SAT/ACT score converter and a 34 ACT equals a 1510 (CR/W). so you are not cheating yourself by only sending the SAT score.
