Do I have to send NYU my AP scores? (I'm going to be a freshman)

<p>AP exam scores are optional. You send them only if you have received a 4 or 5 (and depending on the subject) for NYU to give you credit towards the 128 total required credits for graduation (CAS) or to exempt you from certain required courses at NYU.</p>

<p>Adding to evolving’s post: if you have any 4s or 5s, submit them! See if you can even get elective credits. It’ll help put you ahead of the game in terms of registration, which goes by the amount of credits you have.</p>
