Hi, so if I want to send in my SAT 2 scores to a college (because it is required for admission) then do I need to also send in my SAT 1 score? Apparently some colleges want all SAT scores if any, but the problem is my SAT scores are lower than my ACT scores so I want to send in my ACT instead.

And, do the top colleges prefer the SAT over the ACT or vice versa?

Sorry if these questions are redundant and old, haha I'm new to all of this

If a college requests that you send all of your test results, though, you shouldn’t withhold any results…not a good way to start the admissions process.

There is typically a higher percentage of students submitting the SAT over the ACT at most selective colleges, but I have been told that colleges look at your top scores as being your top scores, regardless of which test you took when you produced them.
