Do I have to submit APs?

I know this may be the 20th thread on the subject but i am really worried. I did really well in two AP classes but poorly on the APs. Do I have to submit the AP exam grades? If not, can I submit some but not all?

Thanks

you don’t have to send them if you don’t intend to try to get credit for the class in college and if you do want to i don’t think you have the option to choose which to send, but usually you don’t have to send the scores until you get in anyways so it’s not like it would affect your getting into college or anything

if you’ll get credit for any of your scores, then send them in. typically, you send them in after being accepted, so this will not affect your chances.

Do you send your AP’s during the application or after you’re accepted?

Lots of applications do ask for them. I haven’t decided if I think it’s an omission or a “lie” to leave them out. Because, even if not required, many elite schools DO take them into consideration. I know NYU’s wording is to the effect of “list all the A/P classes and test results you have taken or will take”. They don’t say “list them if you want, list them if you’ll be applying for credit”. Hard to say if it’s OK to omit some.

Yes!! It’s academic fraud if you don’t since you’ve had extra instruction in the subject.
