Do i have to submit my SIR to apply for housing?

<p>I appealed to berkeley and got accepted today! I couldnt be happier! haha I have until may9th to submit my SIR, but I wanna go check out the campus first. </p>

<p>yes, you need to submit your SIR before applying for housing. Housing is guaranteed for freshmen, as long as you apply before the 6th I think. There are no advantages in applying early so take your time!</p>
