i just finished chem honors this sophomore year. i decided not to take the sat II because i didnt want to deal with studying all of the extra material even though i know i am capable of it. we had a lot of finals this year and i just didnt want more work. i just figured SAT II physics next year would do the trick. well my friends have been telling me that someone like myself looking to get into math/engineering(not chemical)/computer science would do good to take it. and i dont want to! is it really that necessary? thanks

If you decide to apply to schools that have separate application requirements for engineering majors, they might ask for certain SAT IIs, so check their websites. Otherwise, scoring well on the physics test should prove sufficiently that you have an aptitude for science.

yay .
