Do I have to take ENC 1102?

Ok I got a 3 on my English language when I was a junior (still surprised about that) so that means that I can get out of ENC 1101 which is three credits.

This year I'm taking Lit and I'm pretty sure I can pass with a 4, and that will take out AML 2070 and ENL 2022 which are six credits.

It says in the Gen Ed requirements that I need three credits of composition, so do I still need to take ENC 1102? My teacher said I have to since it is like a freshman class but I really do not want to take a english freshman class because I heard that it is just icky. Plus I don't want to take it because I technically have the credits of Composition. So anyone know the real answer to this situation?

if you pass your Lit exam it will count for those classes you mentioned…which fall under the composition credit therefore not requiring you to take enc 1102. you’re compoisition gen ed will be filled.

Is Speech a required class for any major at UF? I’m hoping not… :(

i only know speech is required for pre-pharm kids. i would assume business as well but that is just my thoughts on it. what is your major?

Ah, I see. My major is going to be Engineering haha.
