Do I have to take the ACT if . . .

I live in the East Coast ? ! I live in the smallest state, Rhode Island... For those of you who don't know that state, it's NOT an island. It's part New England. It's a state south of Massachusetts.

Anyway, i know i have to take the SAT, but do I have take the ACT ?

I have been wondering about that for a long time now.

It’s your choice. I like the ACT because there is no guessing penalty but the time constraints are rough

No, you are not required to take the ACT. However, I live on the East Coast as well (South Carolina) and found the test to be MUCH easier than the SAT, so I’d try both.

Colleges take both now (correct me if I’m wrong, please), so the choice is yours. In my school, people take both to find the one they can do the best on.

^ Most colleges accept both. So yes, it is best to take both.

Definately not…totally your choice. Though from the tone of your post I’m wondering how old you are, and if you anywhere near having to worry about it yet? lol
