if i want to transfer for the fall semester of 2006, would i have to take the new SATs even though i have my old SAT scores?

if your transfering, you dont need any SATs, or thats what i thought

It depends. many schools will require the sat depending on how many credits you have taken in college. As to whether to take the new depends on how good your old score was.

Will you be a sophomore or junior transfer? Many schools don't require scores to be sent at all if you're a junior transfer, but most either require them or "highly suggest" them for sophomores.

And deciding whether to take them again or not is optional. You don't have to take the new test, but you might want to to boost your score if you think it will hurt your chances of getting in, or your stats are borderline.

my old SATs were really good and i dont think i can do as well on the new one :P
