do i HAVE to tell them?

In the International Student Financial Aid Form, Question 10 asks which other colleges i'm applying to .. giving me 6 or so spaces.

Do i HAVE to tell the college im applying to what other colleges I'm applying to? If i do, what if i'm applying to 6 ? do i just choose any 6 and fill them in?

I don't know how the form works. Do you fill out one form and it goes to the 6 colleges you list, as FAFSA does? If so, unless you want to go through the procedure of waiting till the form goes to college #1, then correct and send to college #2 and so on, you have to list the schools on the form so that the info is sent to all of them. You do not have the option of filling out multiple FAFSAs. You can only correct the info and have it re-sent to the schools that you replace as corrections. And yes, with the FAFSA when it is sent, all 6 schools can see who else got the form. I can tell you that it does not make a difference in your chances. Almost everyone applies to multiple schools, particularly for aid, and those applying to the most selective school especially have to have many choices because of the chances of getting in. International students have even smaller chances because of many schools are not need blind for them; so again most have to apply to multiple schools. It is a common thing.

but what if im applying to like 12 colleges! lol

International Student Financial Aid Form is paper based and can't be filled out like the FAFSA. I applied Early Decision, so when I filled out I only listed 1 college. You can list the colleges similar to the one you are sending the ISFAA too..Or, you can list 2-3 colleges and since the college info is in the Personal Info. page, fill the page multiple times.........

lol comfy- i have no idea what you were trying to say in your last few sentences:

"You can list the colleges similar to the one you are sending the ISFAA too..Or, you can list 2-3 colleges and since the college info is in the Personal Info. page, fill the page multiple times........."

Anyone to clear this up?

You don't tell your interviewer where else you are applying to for a reason... Why should it be better to tell the Fin Aid office ?!

Plus, it is not necessary as it isn't an internet thing.

I don't think the fin. aid office intertwines with the admissions office though...
