take math 3B ?

i took ap calc ab last year and got a 5 on it, but i want to review some mathematical concepts like integrals since i sort of forgot them.

according to the UCSB website getting a 5 on the ap calc AB test means that u r placed into math 3C ( Linear Alg), but can i take 3B to review some stuff ?

thank you for helping me out :)

Actually, passing Calc AB test enables you to skip math 3A only. You have to pass the Calc BC test in order to skip both math 3A and 3B.

thats incorrect. i went to orientation and I am placed in 3c. I got a 5 on the ab test. For engineering majors, you are placed in 3c automatically, with a score of a 5. You then have to submit a formal petition to receive credit towards graduation for math 3b.

in addition, from what i have heard math 3b is a much harder than anything encountered in high school. by talking with people who had the same predicament as me, I found out that most people recommended I take 3c because it is easier than calculus
