Do I have what it takes to be "Brown?"

Background:

In addition, I am very passionate about art. I’ve been pursing my artistic talents since before I could walk. However, I’m not entirely sure how to convey this since my AP Studio Art score greatly contrasts from my true potential.

Furthermore, I think my SAT is an inaccurate representation of my math/verbal skills. How can I convey this to admission officials if I encounter another SNAFU on my next retake of this exam?

Thank you! All Advice is greatly appreciated!!!

I agree.. your SAT scores seem inconsistent with the rest of your academic record.. If you raise your scores, you'll be fine.

short answer to your question: 1. take SAT prep courses. 2. Try the ACT.

Your grades/academics (especially the AP scores) show that the SATs def. do not represent your ability. As elcapitan says, take prep courses and consider the ACT. If your scores don't improve, you still have a chance because the rest of your profile is very strong, but if not, you may want to consider applying to Bowdoin or Bates (great schools where SAT submissions are optional).

Very interesting set of E.C. activities. Out of curiosity, do you plan to apply ED?

dont put national honor and who's who on application....

dude you are the smartest kid i ever knew except you got sort of bad on the sat but if yo got like 2400 on the sat then you could have gone to any college
