<p>CP is a safety for you. With a 4.5 and a 1500 SAT, I'd recommend applying to stanford and cal tech as well.</p>

<p>my tutor had a 1580, quad 800s, and a 3.95 uw. he got into princeton, cornell, nyu, ucla, cal, cal poly slo, etc... and decided to attend SLO. he applied for political science major. hence slo isnt that bad of a school!</p>
