Do I Meet Nd Requirements

I went and visited ND and fell in love with the place. Let me know what you think I need to do to get in for Sept. of 07.
My class rank is #2 out of 300 in a Good Catholic HS in NJ. I have taken all honors and AP classes. I will have taken 7 AP classes by the time I graduate. All A's and B's in the AP classes. I have a 3.96 and a 4.9 weighted. I play Varsity soccer and Lacrosse althought not good enough to play at ND. VP of french club and many club and activities during my time in HS. Also organized Breast cancer walk for school, even made the local news. I've taken the SAT's once, Math 600 and verbal 540. I'm scheduled to take again in May and have just finished taking Princeton Review. Let me know what you think I need to do to be accepted to ND. It is my absolute #1 choice.

If you can get your test scores up 200-300 points, you seem a pretty good candidate for admission. Good luck next year!

I agree, getting your test scores up is going to be key because the rest of it looks good.

Everything looks perfect except for your SAT scores. If you still have trouble getting those scores up, I'd suggest you try taking the ACT. It's not necessarily harder or easier than the SAT, but it's different, and sometimes works better for some people. And I don't think Notre Dame looks down on the ACT as most East coast schools do.

ACT is an acceptable option. If you stick with the SAT's, try to get them above 1300. And also, alot of people tend to bunch their ec's together. They really are important. You do want to enumerate on them. Talk about them in detail, even send them a list of all the important ones (that you didnt just go to one meeting for) and talk about what you in particular did for the organization, and what the organization does as a whole.
