<p>Since my school goes from 7th grade to 12th grade, in 8th grade I won the school chess championship which I won by beating the best of the middle scholers AND the 9th-12th graders. Although I didn't technicallyt win this award while I was in high school, i won the award because I beat the best of the high school. Should I mention this as one of my awards or will they not count it because I was only in 8th grade.</p>

My D listed Art Honors Society from 7th grade thru 12 on her applications. If you're proud of an achievement...you should mention it.</p>
