<p>Some have one. It’s not necessary, though it can be convenient (I think? Never had one.) I’ve noticed a number with the tires stolen, though…</p>
<p>No need for one at all. I do like having mine, though. I tend to go downtown for volunteering things often, and the bike also forces me to exercise more, since I hate being in gyms. I’d advise going without your first semester and then deciding.</p>

<p>It’s much easier to decide to get a bike if you feel you need one than to try and sell one for a price that’s worth it if you end up not wanting it, so if you are asking whether or not you should buy one (as opposed to bringing up one you already own), definitely wait and see.</p>
