Do I need a graduate degree in materials engineering?
I feel like one isn't needed to have great job opp. since I'll have 4 internships by the time i graduate. And most engineers never get their graduates and still make great money.
Thanks

You certainly don’t need one, but a different set of jobs open up if you do. I’m getting my PhD in MSE and know I probably won’t do any better financially than if I had just gone into the workplace with a BS or MS, but I know the type of work I’m involved with will be very different.

I would recommend it. It is a specialty area. People in specialty areas have less flexilbity. Employers have more of a tendancy to put you in a box. You want that box to be as big as you can get it. 4 interships is a good deal though. Maybe that will make your box plenty big. How do you get 4 internships in only 3 summers?
