Do I need a retake to get into an ivy?

SAT I

CR: 740
Math: 760
Writing: 800

SAT II

Matth II:800
Latin: 730

depends on other factors such as GPA, class rank, ECs, URM status, essays, recs, etc… But your scores are pretty solid regardless

how seriously do ivy league colleges look at SAT scores compared to others

Come on seriously? You don’t need to retake them. You only need 2100 for ivy. I wish I had your score, my first score is going to make ivies put my app in thedeny pile even if I managebto even come closento 2100 or 2200, your score is great

Nope, you’re fine. You might want to take another SAT II in case some colleges you want to apply for require three and SAT II’s are easy to study for. Physics is usually a pretty easy 800 if you’re good at physics.

It depends on who you talk to. Most people state that 2200 is a threshold for SAT and 700+ on subject tests. So by this measure, you have met the threshold. However, as Tennuggler mentioned, it is only one piece of your application.

Ivies are a crapshoot. So if you had perfect scores across, no one can predict you can get into Ivies. If they like the rest of the application, these scores should be good enough. However, you may want to take a science subject also since language is mainly used to give you a waiver.

2300+ is more than enough. Won’t make a difference, and improvement space is little. Use the extra time to work on extra currics/ resume
