I am taking AP Calculus; however, I am not doing to well. I currently have a 69% in the class. I was thinking of dropping from the AP level to the College Prep level. (CP) I am an Early decision 1 applicant for lehigh, and I have shown a lot of interest by college visits, the view program, an interview, and emailing with my admin rep. If I were to switch into the Cp level (I won’t loose credit or anything) could this ruin my chances? I want to major in CSB or atleast CS. My ACT composite is 32 and my weighted gpa is a 95.34. Thank you guys:)
It hurts your chances if you are applying for engineering, but otherwise not so big a deal. ED with a 32 is a good bet…also, ED decisions will be made before an updated transcript shows up, yes? Timing matters.
It is great that Lehigh offers computer science through the College of Engineering and the College of Arts and Sciences so students have the option of majoring in computer science with less emphasis of mathematics.
