do i need more safety schools? and chances while youre at it please

<p>OK this will sound ridiculous but...</p>

<p>Remove HYP and replace them with Stanford and some safeties. </p>

<p>Stanford, while just as tough to get into as HYP, places a HUGE emphasis on raising money, something you have done a great job of throughout h.s. Yes, your stats are abysmal compared to mos of their applicants. But I know someone who had a 27 ACT and very mediocre grades and AP scores, but raised ridiculous amounts of money. He is now in a graduate program at Stanford. </p>

<p>Is Stanford one of the hardest schools in the country to get in? Yes, but only because so few people are as benevolent as you seem to be, OP.</p>
